The multiPIG frequency counter / display unit
I do not recommend this construction technique for the Freq Counter,
UNLESS you have done "UGLY" construction before.
Parts REPLACEMENT and DEBUGGING can be very difficult.
A better approach might be to use 1/10 inch vector board and IC sockets
Switches on top from left to right are FC input select, +/- offset and offset on/off.
The blue pots are used to adjust the IF offset frequency.

Pots and switches are held on the board with thick double stick tape

The round pot is the display contrast adjust.
5 volt regulator and 180 ohm 2W series resistor for the backlit display.
The 180 ohm resistor is connected to 12 volts.
The pad in the middle is connected to the 12 volt supply.
